We have three investment strategies:
Business acquisitions
We acquire businesses that are stable, cash generative and with a specialism. Our focus has been manufacturing, engineering and technical service businesses. We particularly like long-term customer relationships: repeat customers who come back year-after-year.
Strategic investments
We invest in businesses going through a transition, whether that be supporting a management team to buy the business from existing shareholders, cashing out existing shareholders, or providing specialist capital to meet the needs of the business.
Growth capital
We invest in a range of early stage companies that are rethinking the markets in which they operate. We tend to invest at seed round and support the businesses as they grow and develop.

Cardel is a leading manufacturer of specialist components and materials used in the production of a wide range of products including secure ID documents, payment cards, printed circuit boards (PCB), fuel cells, wooden furniture and other laminated solutions – as examples around 60% of identity cards / passports and 40% of Smart Cards utilise a Cardel product in their manufacturing processes.
Ergochair
Ergochair is a specialist manufacturer of bespoke office seating and back-care products. The company is the UK leader in seating for people with posture problems or physical disabilities. Ergochair's seating enables them to work in comfort and helps them to achieve their full potential.
Barton
Barton is the UK market leader in the design, manufacture and installation of bulk storage solutions. Barton specialists in aluminium and stainless steel technical silos and pressure vessels for a range of industries globally.
Pimseal
Pimseal are the UK's leading supplier of rubber and PTFE sealing solutions. The company supplies into the aerospace, automotive, electrical, water, beverage and medical industries, on a global basis.
Hammond Chemicals
Hammond is a leading supplier of blended solvents. The company is based in the West Midlands and supplies its products into a range of specialist industrial applications.
Safespaces
Safespaces designs and manufactures specialist furniture for individuals with complex needs. The company is based in Yorkshire and works with healthcare professionals on a global basis.
